Hi everyone. Glad you found this page — this is a “blog” for the Hardheim-Hardtimes webiste. “Blog” is what we used to call a bulletin board or web-log. It is a public forum where you can post comments about the web-site, Hardheim in general, or each other (within reason). This “blog” is monitored by me and is designed as a forum for sharing memories of Hardheim and catching up with old friends, and although you are pretty much free to post whatever you want - please keep in mind that whatever you post on the internet is ALWAYS on the internet somewhere.
Therefore, any postings that I consider inappropriate will be taken down. So, warnings orders in advance…
(1) No poo-poo nasty words. We’ve all matured beyond the need to revert back to angry 18-years olds.
(2) No telling tales out of school. That means no stories that might damage the reputation of any individual or the US Army. If you’re still holding a grudge about how someone did you wrong - send them a private email (I’ll give anyone who served a forwarded email account with your name @Hardheim-Hardtimes.com)
(3) Other than that… you’re on your own. I won’t watch your every post, but will rely on the members to police themselves. If you see something that you don’t think belongs on the site, email me at robert.bullington@hardheim-hardtimes.com and I’ll take it down.
Last, I’m using as much “free” service stuff as I can find (like this tool) to keep costs down. It may not be the best stuff out there or the easiest to use, but I’m not the best webmaster or programmer. Anyone with experience is welcomed to “volunteer” to help. (that word still stings after all these years, doesn’t it?)
